😊Music & My Life😊

Music came to my life by accident. My loku amma's daughter told me to do music as a subject. That’s my chooti akka. When I was 13 years old, I went to my loku amma's house in Kurunegala for a vacation. At that me my chooti akka doing A/L after doing O/L. Chooti akka who did the Music for the GCE O/L. The day we went there, my sister played the violin and showed it to me. I said then that I like it too please give it to me too. So that day my sister taught me how to play the violin. Then I said that I love to do music and back then I was doing dancing as a subject at that time. I was fed up with the dancing subject. When I told akka that, she said, “if my sister likes music, it is not difficult to do as a subject and it is an easy subject”. So I thought back then that I was doing music because I like it. Hence, my first music teacher will be my chooti akka🥰💕.

So after I started school I dropped out of the dancing subject for two and half years and switched to music in the second term of grade 8. The biggest reason I hate the dance subject is that the teacher rejects me as well as the subject. Today I'm happy to switch from dancing subject to music🥰❤️.

So at that time, I came to music in grade 8, the music teacher took me to music on a few promises🥵. So I was able to keep those promises. I like the way that my music teacher played the instruments and her vocals. I think while watching the way the teacher plays I hope to be able to play like this one day too🥺.

I first sing a solo song in grade 5. It’s not a song, I meant a poem for a poetry competition. I forgot the poem then and could not recite the poem😕.

Five years later, in grade 10, I sang the mother song at the Dhamma School society. At the age of 15, I failed miserably at the age of 10 and sang somewhat successfully😊.

I was in the school singing group for 5 years🙈. I have sung in the  singing group at every school special days🥰.

I have sung stanzas and poems for all those special days at the Dhamma School😁.

Now i'm UVPA student. It's my dream in music life😊
